Goddess in You paintings
I love seeing and celebrating the Goddess in every woman. This is the inspiration for these paintings: to paint and honour the Goddess in the artwork's owner.
Based on my popular (and sold out) Goddess Girl art series, the Goddess in You paintings are custom artworks that illustrate you as a Goddess. I want to create something for your wall that will light you up every.single.time. you look at it, to remind you just how loved you are, and what a divine Goddess you are.
They are pieces to celebrate and honour the unique goddesses we all are. I want to create a beautiful artwork to remind every woman of the beautiful goddess she is... to whisper to her every day about her own power, gifts, magnificence and precious heart. The Goddess In You paintings are portraits of the soul ~ of the Goddess in every woman.
Goddesses fill out a Goddess in You questionnaire, and I will create a custom goddess painting of them... incorporating their own sacred colours, avatars, totems, attire ~ and all the way the divine expresses itself through you.
The photograph to the left is me with my very own Goddess in You paintings. I will be sharing more photographs of Goddesses with their Goddess in You paintings as I receive them. :)
Size and materials
I create these Goddess in You paintings as delicious, textured, multi layered mixed media arworks, incorporating acrylic paint, 3d paint, glitter, crystals, shells, fabric, gouache, feathers, found papers and stamping. They are a gorgeous large 50 x 50 cm/20 x 20 inches on pre-wrapped canvas so they are a vibrant feature on your wall. I paint around the edges so no framing is required.
Process
1. Once I receive your payment, I will send you a questionaire for you to fill out.
2. You pour yourself a delicious cup of tea, and watch the sun dance through the windows as you answer questions about the Goddess in you.
3. Once I receive your precious answers, I will complete the artwork within 3 weeks. (If you require it earlier than that, let me know and we'll work something out!)
4. You can choose to be surprised by your artwork arriving in the mail previously unseen, or if you'd like to do a final approval, I can email you a photograph of the artwork before sending.
5. Ta-da! Gorgeous artwork celebrating, honouring, cherishing the Goddess in You.

Case study: my own Goddess in You painting
For my own Goddess in You painting, I wanted to create something that would remind me in a moment who I was and what my soul purpose was, just in a glance. I wanted her eyes to be piercing but gentle, and for the painting to include some of my totems and soul colours, especially turquoise.
Her dress is made out of turquoise and magenta paper that has silver thread woven through it. Her hair has a peacock feather and a blue and black feather incorporated in. Her necklace is one of my actual favourite necklaces, a blue howlite shaped into an infinity symbol. Words are written on in gold paint, and texture for the painting has been built up with acrylic and oil pastels. She is saturated with glitter too, so she shines from every angle.
She feels like such an intensely personal artwork to me... like the most precious gift I have ever given myself.
